However, if you want a different font for English which does not contain a Hebrew character set, then you will need to manually change the boxes to a Hebrew font (ideally using a character style). Or ideally do this with a paragraph style that you use when importing the text. If you change all text to one of those fonts, both Hebrew and English will be correct. There are fonts that contain both English and Hebrew character sets (at least for Windows), such as Times New Roman and Arial as well as the Adobe Hebrew. When you insert that text into ID, either by place or paste, you get the pink boxes because ID does not fake a Hebrew font, you must manually change to one. In Word, when you typed Hebrew within English text, you can be using any English font and type in Hebrew and Word "fakes" a Hebrew font. If you do have the Hebrew support version, then your problem is as follows: Can you please confirm whether or not you have the version with Hebrew support? You really need it to use Hebrew, otherwise even if you highlight the "boxes" and change to a Hebrew font, the Hebrew text will be backwards. However, that does not sound like the case from your description. If you have the World Ready Paragraph Composer, then you would be using the version of ID with Hebrew support.
